Namrata Shrestha was born on 14th June 1986. She is a Nepali actress, model and RJ. Namrata became popular as she appeared in many music videos, TV advertisements and played a lead role in Nepali digital movie 'Sano Sansar - 2008'and 'Mero Euta Sathi Cha'. She has been the cover girl for WAVE and VOW magazines and many others too. Namrata Shrestha also has been mentioned as one of the top five Nepali models by The Kathmandu Post and a featured model in CyberSansar.

Namrata Shrestha, born in Dharan, completed her schooling from KIST and studying Bachelors in Mass Communication right now. After starting to become as a model, she has been able to establish her career at young age which would be really difficult for other normal Nepali girls.

Malvika Subba (born on July 19th, 1981) is a Nepali girl who started her journey as a model. With the interest in modeling, she worked hard to make some space for herself in the fashion world of Nepal. As a result, Malvika was able to achieve the title of Miss Nepal 2002 at the age of 21.

The name Malvika Subba is not just enough for knowing as Miss Nepal. She has hosted for various television programs (most popularly known for Call Kantipur) and her presence in numerous music videos made the videos even more popular.

Ayusha Karki The Former Miss Teen Nepal

Ayusha Karki was a former Miss Teen Nepal 2007. She left modeling career and movie business back in 2009 to become a real estate agent. These information are quite old but the name and photos of Ayusha Karki is still high over the internet.

Within the same year, she was also able to win the Health Care Management International World Miss University title. The second runner up for this title was Miss Khusbu Oli (also the winner of Miss Teen Nepal 2006) who accused that the title was bought by Ayusha.

Two years later, being a contestant for the Miss Nepal, she was able to achieve the Miss Best Complexion and the Miss Photogenic title. Contestants: Miss Nepal 2012

The time is coming near for the country to have new Miss Nepal for the year 2012. The 19th Miss Nepal organized by ‘The Hidden Treasure Pvt. Ltd.’ will be held at Hotel Del Annapurna on May 6, 2012. The contest will be telecasted live on Nepal Television.

The audition phase was held sooner than the previous year as to make enough time available for the winners to be prepared and trained. The contestant who will be crowned as Miss Nepal 2012 will represent Nepal at Miss World 2012. Similarly, the first and second runners up will compete at ‘Miss Earth’ and ‘Miss International’ respectively. 

Altogether 17 contestants from different parts of the country were selected to compete for the national beauty pageant this year. However, predictions has already been started to flow and the result is yet to be announced. The competition is tough as it is not just about beauty but also talent.
